In the 1920s, people were all about the classics – think hearty meats like salami and prosciutto, some tangy cheeses, maybe some pickled veggies or olives, and of course some crusty bread to soak it all up. It was all about simplicity and quality ingredients. Folks weren’t really into adding fruit to their spreads, but for a more modern take, the addition of juicy grapes, sweet figs or tart berries to balance out those savory meats and cheeses. Trust in this, it will be a flavor explosion indeed!!
